In one of our recent on-site days, we ran into a few unexpected turns that reminded us how important quick thinking and solid coordination are in keeping a project moving. We captured the moment on video, and it gives a glimpse into what a real workday of a residential construction company looks like when the stakes are high but the team stays focused.

Real Challenges, Real Teamwork

Our crew was in the middle of completing a sewer tap when we discovered something that should not have been there. A three phase power line had been located incorrectly and ended up getting hit. That was an immediate issue, but thanks to the quick response from the utility company, the line was safely spliced and reconnected. In the meantime, other parts of the job kept rolling. Our trim contractor was getting ready to leave, but the gutter team had just arrived. At the same time, the faux beams were being delivered to the site. As soon as the beams were in place, the gutter crew could continue with their installation. The trim contractor wrapped up their portion and the third crew stayed focused on verifying the sewer line. The job moved forward, even with all the activity and interruptions.
