Met my wife and started a family right in Belle Fourche SD. Breaking out of the office job of engineering I wanted to contribute to the community in a real way building custom homes that feel right, and stay that way over the long haul.

iLevel exists because we saw people consistently frustrated with their builder, the pains of custom home process. Gathering a team of some of the best builders, designers and engineers. We set out to build the systems and processes that bring tangible result. When everything is planned and in place building goes smoother, every nail, tile and board is placed with uninterrupted focus.

I've watched a lot of homes get built in this valley.

Most of them didn't go the way they should have.

Where this all started

Most people just want to have someone who can take what they want. The vision, the feel they want to have when they walk in the door. That feeling they want their builder to understand.

I’ve seen a lot of homes built in my back yard, my community that either took absolutely forever ended with a frustrated homeowner, or people who just decided that a custom home wasn’t worth the chaos of trying to build.

So, I got fed up with it.

Turns out when you apply project management and preconstruction planning, custom homes can actually be built how you envisioned. Built how you envisioned, within the budget and timeline set out.
